Melanie has been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years cultivating expertise in dance, Crossfit, surfing,the martial arts, gymnastic, climbing, circus schooling and yoga. This vast exposure to different types of fitness has been the catalyst for a wide berth of nutritional, fueling, and recovery knowledge as well. While following her life long dream Mel began competitive big wave surfing and used all her knowledge of fueling and fitness to win competitions.

For 5 years at the conception of Crossfit, Mel was the CEO of one of the leading CrossFit equipment manufacturers in the world, getting to work with the founders, innovators, and leaders in the CrossFit community. That experience brought her to the door of SEALFIT where she has had the opportunity to learn from the physically elite Navy SEAL Cadre and those who aim to be SEALs. Above all, Mel is passionate about the link between nutrition and performance—and her book, “6 Weeks to Cleaner Eating” is the summation of what’s she’s learned to fuel and transform her body.
